Lauren Sabini

Miss Lauren came to FMRNS from Greenwich Country Day School’s onsite faculty/staff childcare center, where she taught a multi-age group of toddlers and 3-4-year-olds for 21 years.  While working at GCDS, Miss Lauren acquired her CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) and has kept it current with ongoing coursework for 18 years.  She continues to take courses towards her BA in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Preschool.

Miss Lauren believes that her enthusiasm for teaching not only comes from being a lifelong learner, but also from the fond memories she has of her own childhood, which have made it easy for her to relate to young children.

Miss Lauren’s favorite children’s book is Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin, and she loves to make magical mixtures such as Space Mud (a.k.a Slime).  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, indoor cycling, and boating on Long Island Sound.
