Ann teaches in the Firefighters Way classroom alongside Debbi Dee. This is her second year at FMRNS and she loves how the school and community support each other. She has been teaching twos, threes and fours in the surrounding towns for almost twenty years.

Ann holds a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College and is experienced with both the Reggio and play based philosophies of learning. She loves to get down on the floor with her students to explore, play, and learn alongside them as they investigate new ideas.  Ann has a deep love of children’s literature and is passionate about sharing old and new favorites. 

 

Ann and her husband are the parents of two adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time at the beach with friends and family.
