Lucy has been teaching at Five Mile River Nursery School since 2015 as a 4s teacher, a sub and most recently as a 3s teacher.  Lucy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, University of Newcastle U.K, ongoing studies in Early Childhood online at Portland State University.  She began her second career in early childhood after volunteering at her youngest son’s pre-school and became hooked on the experience!

 

Lucy enjoys developing opportunities for children to learn and practice planning and executive functioning, maximizing opportunities for children to enjoy the world around them. She likes to use imaginary play, storytelling and music to encourage self-regulation and working memory while also having FUN!

 

Lucy lives in Stamford with her daughter Poppy, 2 sons Albert and Freddie, and Herbie the Cockapoo.
